Brighten up the winter with six weeks of colourful, uplifting acrylic painting.
Paint the Winter Bright is a relaxed 6-week art club for adults and teens, designed to bring some colour and creativity into the coldest part of the year.
Across the course, we’ll work on a set of six small 15 x 15 cm canvases — one painting each week. The smaller format keeps each project manageable and achievable, while giving you a lovely coordinated collection of six finished artworks by the end of the course.
Each week, you’ll complete a different acrylic painting while learning practical techniques such as colour mixing, blending, texture, layering, brushwork and composition.
The six projects are:
- Week 1 – Rainbow Highland Cow
- Week 2 – Sunshine Lemons
- Week 3 – Colourful Kingfisher
- Week 4 – Wildflower Meadow
- Week 5 – Hot-Air Balloons
- Week 6 – Bright Coastal Doorway
All projects are taught step by step, so you do not need any previous painting experience.
Where needed, tracers will be provided so you can focus on the painting rather than worrying about drawing.
This course is perfect for complete beginners as well as anyone who simply wants to enjoy a few creative hours each week in a friendly, relaxed environment.
