Class Terms and Conditions

Creative Image Studio – Policy & Information

Class Schedule:

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM & 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

 Class Fees (Monthly Membership):

  • Monthly fee: £60 (includes four classes per month, £15 per 2.5-hour class)
  • Fees remain consistent each month, even during months with five weeks.
  • Full monthly fees are due each month, regardless of missed classes due to holidays, personal commitments, or absences.
  • Fees are due in the last week of each month, collected preferably via GoCardless.  You can set up your payments securely using this link.   Alternatively, direct debit, cash during your class or via bank transfer.
  • One month’s notice is required should you decide to leave the studio.

 Make-Up Class Policy (Gym Membership Approach):

  • No refunds for missed classes.
  • Missed classes can be made up within one month if space is available.
  • Two spots per class available for make-up, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

 Class Attendance & Absence

  • If you are unable to attend a class, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible. This allows us to offer your place to a catch-up student. Failure to attend without notice is disruptive to the studio, discourteous to the instructor, and prevents us from reallocating the seat.

 Tea Break Snacks:

  • Contributions welcome! Sign up on the class snack roster.
  • Simple snacks like biscuits are appreciated.
  • Please bring your own snack if you have dietary restrictions.

 Material Costs:

  • Class fees include paint used during sessions.
  • Students must purchase their own items to paint (canvas, wood, fabric) directly from the studio.  No material purchased outside of the studio may be used.
  • Material costs will be billed during the lesson and to be paid cash or card.
  • Recommended: Quality brush sets (hog hair and synthetic brushes) available at the studio for £10.

 Studio Housekeeping:

  • Use clean sticks for dispensing paint; wash sticks after use.
  • Tighten paint caps properly and organize pots by number.
  • Brushes must be washed and returned to the paintbrush container.
  • Dispose of waste properly and wipe your workspace after class.
  • Wash and return your coffee cup and plate after use.

 Break Notice & Annual Schedule Adjustment:

  • Throughout the year, there are typically five months with five weeks each, which results in five extra unpaid classes per student annually. To balance this out, the studio may schedule breaks as follows: one week in April, two weeks in August, and two weeks in December. Dates will be confirmed as the year progresses, but monthly fees will remain consistent, covering all scheduled lessons regardless of breaks.

Event Tickets Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

All bookings for events such as paint parties, painting or drawing workshops, and children’s events must be secured with full payment at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Payments are non-refundable but may be transferable at our discretion.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
In the event you need to cancel or reschedule:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event will receive a credit for future events.

  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case attendees will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Participant Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully towards staff and other attendees. Any disruptive behavior or failure to adhere to safety guidelines may result in removal from the event without refund.

4. Safety and Liability
Participants attend events at their own risk. While all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure safety, we will not be liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss of personal belongings.

5. Children’s Events

  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Parents or guardians assume full responsibility for the supervision of their children.

6. Photography and Media
By participating in our events, attendees consent to being photographed or recorded. Images and videos may be used for promotional purposes unless explicitly declined in writing prior to the event.

7. Materials and Supplies
All necessary art materials and supplies will be provided unless otherwise indicated. Attendees may be held liable for intentional damage or misuse of materials.

8. Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected during booking is strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purposes of organizing the event. Your information will never be shared with third parties.

By registering for and attending any event hosted by us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Kids’ Party Packages – Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date.

  • The remaining balance is payable on the day of the party before the session begins.

  • Parties require a minimum of 6 children. If fewer children attend on the day, the minimum charge will still apply.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable as materials and staffing are arranged in advance.

  • If you need to reschedule your party, we will do our best to accommodate a new date (subject to availability). The deposit can be transferred to the new booking if at least 14 days’ notice is given.

  • Cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

On the Day

  • Parents are responsible for bringing their own food, drinks, plates, cups, and cutlery.

  • All rubbish and food waste must be cleared and taken away after the party.

  • Due to limited space, we ask guest parents to drop off and collect their children. The birthday child’s parents are required to stay for the duration of the party.

  • Children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times.

Liability

  • While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, Creative Image Studio cannot accept liability for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the party.
